The StickWithUs Foundation was established to raise awareness for and where possible help raise funds local charities. Locally, each year we support INREACH, the JIMMY CORE FOUNDATION, MISSION 34, and the Salute to Heroes Foundation.

Read below about our efforts and how to get involved with these projects.

The 2025 Heroes Bowl will feature the top boys lacrosse teams in the region playing ten games through the day.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to Mission 34 and the Salute to Heroes Foundation.

Mission 34

We’re on a mission to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental illness through awareness, education, and ambassadors.

Mission 34 was organized in honor and loving memory of Sean P. Bonner, Jr. who died by suicide at age 20.
Sean was a beloved friend, strong in body but silently battling mental illness, whose untimely death stunned all. Mission 34 seeks to raise awareness, urging openness and support for mental health struggles, emphasizing that seeking help shows strength, not weakness.

Salute to Heroes Foundation

Salute to Heroes Charlotte Foundation assists members of public safety in their time of need. When 911 is called, public safety members show up with no questions asked. When a public safety member or their family is in need, the Salute to Heroes Charlotte Foundation responds to help assist with no questions asked.

ADDITIONAL COMMUNITY PROJECTS

The Jimmy Core Foundation

Jimmy Core played lacrosse at Ardrey Kell HS & Florida State was one of the “original Cyclones” and played in just about every StickWithUs program including Team Carolina. Jimmy passed tragically from a swimming accident in 2016. The Jimmy CORE Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in the spirit of its namesake. Jimmy Core was committed to helping homeless people eat a full meal in the communities in which he lived and worked.

INREACH

The StickWithUs Organization supports INREACH through yearly financial contributions. INREACH is a leader in Charlotte, providing innovative housing, employment, and community services to support people with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities and their families.

How To Contribute

The StickWithUs Organization, we are actively seeking charitable donations to assist with the cost of producing these first-class lacrosse events.

Contributions to The StickWithUs Organization, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are deductible for computing income and estate taxes. The StickWithUs Organization is registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State and is a 501(c)(3) organization and contributions to it are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
