Summer 2010 U-15 Boys Info

U-15 Eligibility: Athletes born in 1995 and 1996 are eligible to participate on the U-15 Team in 2010.  Typically the U-15 squad is 7th and 8th graders but 9th graders with a 1995 birth year may also play.  And since most of the very good U-15 national competition teams are 9th graders we encourage eligible Charlotte 9th graders who do not make the Team Charlotte HS team to play South Charlotte Select U-15.

2010 Summer Highlights:

Use of a Cascade Pro 7 Helmet for the season, Under Armour Uniforms; Shorts & Reversibles.

Two regional and Three National tournaments.
U-15 Staff: Mike Gambrill, Head Coach Myers Park HS. Mike Murphy, Assistant Coach at Catawba College, Matt Wiehl, Head Coach Butler HS, Tim Dobs, Assistant at Myers Park HS, and other Top Charlotte Area Coaches

Cost to Participate Summer 2010:
2010 Membership Fee is $TBA per player includes: The use of a South Charlotte Select Cascade Pro 7 Helmet for the season, South Charlotte Select Under Armour Game Reversible, Under Armour game shorts, practice shorts, two pairs of team socks, custom vapor flex shirt, South Charlotte Select Hoddie, and a cotton team t-shirt. All five tournament entry fees, 21 team practices, approximately 25 lacrosse games, coaches salaries, coaches travel expenses; Professional coaching at all practices and events; Practice facility use fees; Supplemental player insurance that covers the athlete when we practice, scrimmage or play in Charlotte  The opportunity to play at regional and national tournaments against top notch competition; Administration and web site upkeep.  Professional Travel Agent to assist you with all your travel needs.
The fees do not include players travel to/from events, players meals, players lodging.  It will be the parent's responsibility to provide transportation to/from events, players meals, and arranging for your families lodging accommodations.
