The StickWithUs Foundation
The StickWithUs Organization is actively seeking charitable donations to further develop, what we believe, are our two most worthy programs. While these programs emerge at opposite ends of the lacrosse spectrum they are connected; The StickWithUs Youth Lacrosse Initiative & Team Carolina Lacrosse.
Support the StickWithUs Youth Lacrosse Initiative
Over the past several years, Charlotte has witnessed a dramatic growth in lacrosse. It has gone from a struggling club sport in the area high schools, to a flourishing youth sport with hundreds of participants and state sanctioning by both North and South Carolina. At this point, in the development of lacrosse in our area, we still believe participation is crucial. Our Youth Lacrosse Initiative is geared to bring the game to anyone who wants to play.
In 2012 StickWithUs, is association with Mecklenburg Country Park & Recreation, will launch a new no charge program. These clinics will provide integrated lacrosse instruction and enriching life skills to youth from diverse and traditionally underserved populations. StickWithUs coaches, as well as Team Carolina athletes, will be actively involved in this local volunteer effort each Fall.
Funds donated to the Youth Lacrosse Initiative will also provide scholarships to area children who otherwise would not be able to participate in league play.
Our role is to continue to promote the growth and development of lacrosse through active participation by all the kids in our community. Suggested contribution to assist this program with sticks & equipment is $250-$500. Please consider making a donation to support these kids.
Support Team Carolina Lacrosse
Team Carolina Lacrosse serves as the embodiment of lacrosse excellence, a level of high standards and a positive example to which our young athletes can aspire and learn.
Annually Team Carolina provides an opportunity to showcase the best of North Carolina on the national stage.
Each year several athletes rely on valuable donations or they would not otherwise be able to play for Team Carolina. The cost for an athlete to participate each summer is in excess of $2,500.
Critical resources are generated through tax-deductable contributions from members of the teams, families, friends, Team Carolina alumni, and members of the lacrosse community. Suggested contribution to assist a player is $750-$1500. Please consider making a donation to support these athletes.

Contributions to The StickWithUs Organization, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are deductible for computing income and estate taxes. The StickWithUs Organization is registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State and is a 501(c)(3) organization and contributions to it are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
